The head of the Accounts Department is the overall in charge of the Accounts Department and works under the Chief Executive Officer.

The Accounts department maintains the Income and expenditure of the department, deal with all types of payment made to contractors, suppliers & employees, preparation of Budget Estimates, maintaining Annual accounts and Audit of the annual accounts of cantonment board.
