Information Technology department of Jammu Cantonment Board is making continuous efforts towards computerization of all departments to provide transparency and better services to its citizens. The main objective of IT department is computerization of various activities and work flows of various departments in order to promote efficiency, transparency, accountability and responsiveness.
Rakshabhoomi- Defence Land Management Software
Cantonment Board Jammu does not maintain Rakshabhoomi, as there is no notified Civil area in Jammu Cantt. Hence GLR is being maintained by DEO Jammu Circle, Jammu Cantt.
Public Grievance Redressal Software- Samadhan
In Samadhan, complaints are received online from general public.
File Management Software (FMS) for Cantt Board Record room
This software helps in making an inventory of all office files along with the location arrangement. Temporary files movements within sections are also recorded through the software.
