The Cantonment General Hospital is a 16 bedded unit at present, providing general medical and primary care services including laboratory and immunization services. It has a General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) and Dentist. ENT and Eye Specialist visit the Hospital twice/thrice a week.

The State government provided Pediatrician and Gynecologist on loan to the Hospital from 1990 to 2018 which enabled the Hospital to provide the two specialists to the residents. The Cantonment Board has again requested the J&K UT authorities to provide the two doctors. As and when they are provided the services of the Pediatrician and Gynecologist will be made available.

COVID-19 MANAGEMENT

BASIC FACILITY:- Bed available with Oxygen facility i.e. through oxygen concentrator for mild patients.

VACCINATION CENTRE:- G B Pant  Cantonment General Hospital is designated as covid Vacination Centre for COVID-19.  Covid Vaccination for 45 years and above is available daily between 9 AM to 3 PM.

RT-PCR Test  camps are being organised as and when required in association with J&K (UT)

FEVER CLINIC:- Fever Clinic has been set up at G B Pant Cantonment General Hospital and is available every day.
